The new junior skiing boots range for Alpina is a thorough rethink of the skiing boot for younger skiers. New last construction provides better comfort while retaining the performance characteristics of the boot. The plastic outer boot is designed in a way that reduces weight, while keeping the structural integrity necessary for the best possible performance. The inner shoe employs the use of the 4DRY material, designed specifically for use in such applications. It provides thermal comfort while keeping the feet dry at all times. This also meant a completely new design of the inner shoe so that the function of the 4DRY material is as good as it can be. Also part of the project was the design of completely new buckles, with an unique, easy to use system for opening and closing the boots.
A major part of our holistic approach was to establish the art direction for different product niches by creating a system of product graphics.
The boots are a great success on the international market and further increase our client's market share.
